Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Shelf Edge Coordinator to oversee daily shelf edge operations, ensuring accurate pricing, signage, and planogram compliance. You will train and supervise team members, conduct audits, and support inventory accuracy across departments.

The role emphasizes maintaining labeling standards, supporting packaging changes, and delivering consistent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior supervisor experience and English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pricing systems, planograms, and inventory accuracy processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to train and guide team members.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations related to pricing and inventory.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Update shelf tags and signage across departments with promotional changes.
• Order, print, and manage shelf tags to maintain pricing integrity.
• Audit pricing, codes, tare weights, and discrepancies for compliance.
• Maintain WIC labeling and COOL compliance.
• Supervise and train Shelf Edge team members and conduct evaluations.
• Schedule staff within budget and promote teamwork.
• Ensure safety and enforce company policies; address injuries or complaints.
