Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing operations and/or logistics.
• Involves lifting, kneeling, and other types of physical labor.
• Ability to shift between tasks and prioritize workload.
• Strong teamwork and communication with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate the paper sheeter and supporting equipment; enter production details into the AS400 computer system.
• Participate in safety initiatives and commit to a safe working environment.
• Thread in paper, remove wrinkles, decurl the sheets, set size and square, ensure proper overlap and jog of finished product.
• Run the machine that cuts rolls of paper to specific sheet sizes and stack sheets for final cutting.
• Maintain a clean work environment, following all SOPs.
• Interact with Case Paper staff and outside mill and vendor service partners; act professionally.
• Cooperate with managers and supervisors to use process controls and lean principles to improve total operational effectiveness.
• Support the training program within Case Paper to bolster cooperation and cross-training.
• Assist with other machine operation and data collection as requested.
