Job summary

RRD in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Sheeter Operator to bridge raw paper rolls and the precision printing process. You will transform large paperboard rolls into flat, accurately sized sheets while upholding strict quality and efficiency standards on our packaging line.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial machinery, preferably sheet forming equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch and perform basic calculations.
• Strong stamina for long shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strict adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate high-speed sheeting equipment to convert paperboard rolls into precise sheets.
• Monitor sheet dimensions, squareness, and surface quality to prevent defects.
• Review job tickets to determine specifications and perform efficient make-ready transitions.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on knives, rollers, and belts.
• Operate forklifts or roll-clamping equipment to load heavy rolls onto unwind stands.
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues or paper-run jams to minimize downtime.
