Oliver Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheeter Operator to join our manufacturing team in Hauppauge, NY. The role involves operating and maintaining sheet cutting equipment, ensuring sheet quality, and coordinating with production and warehouse teams to meet daily schedules.

You will handle setup of slitters, anvils, belts, and joggers, monitor material inventory, and assist in training teammates while following safety procedures. This position offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Sheeter Operator experience in printing, paper converting, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of paper grades and production workflows.
• Experience operating industrial sheeting equipment.
• Forklift and clamp truck operating experience required.
• Basic computer skills to enter production and inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheeting equipment to convert paper rolls into sheets per production specs.
• Prioritize jobs based on daily production schedule.
• Inspect rolls for defects before production.
• Set up and adjust the sheeter and related components to meet job requirements.
• Verify sheet size, squareness, and quality during runs.
• Maximize efficiency by batching jobs and using existing inventory.
• Maintain inventory and production records in computer systems.
