Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Sheeter Operator to manage daily operations of sheeting equipment in our Chicago, IL facility. The role includes inventory control through RFGEN and SAP, meeting production goals, and performing quality checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English; basic math skills.
• Forklift certification preferred and forklift coordination required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor sheeting equipment daily.
• Enter rolls into RFGEN and SAP; reconcile sheeted material for inventory control.
• Maintain production goals within the department and specific machine.
• Perform quality checks for size, job number, customer name, stock type and caliper.
• Handle make-readies, changeovers, and back-side printing on equipment.
• Ensure adherence to control plan specifications and calibration requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and process safety; assist with maintenance work orders and belt replacement.
