Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sheeter Operator to manage daily operations of the sheeting equipment according to control plan specifications. You will ensure accurate inventory, quality checks, and timely changeovers to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include RFGEN and SAP data entry, forklift operation, and adherence to SQF procedures. Overtime and rotating shifts may apply; promotion and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate forklift and read basic metrics.
• Basic math skills and English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Enter rolls into RFGEN and SAP and reconcile materials.
• Maintain production goals within the department and machine.
• Perform quality checks on size, job number, customer name, stock type and caliper.
• Handle make readies, changeovers, and back-side printing.
• Adhere to control plan specifications and caliper requirements.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance work orders.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
