Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Chicago, IL seeks a Palletizer Operator to join our team. You will operate automated palletizing equipment, read specifications, and ensure correct pallet configurations for finished goods.

Candidates should have manufacturing experience, be able to work various shifts with overtime, and possess basic English communication and mechanical skills. We offer training and advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to work other shifts and overtime as required.
• Must read, write and speak English with good communication.
• Qualified candidate is mechanically inclined with some computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate palletizing console to sort, transfer, and stack cases on pallets.
• Read packaging specs to match pallet type and arrangement.
• Monitor pallets moving on conveyor for defects or jams.
• Adjust stacking using palletizer selector and transfer loaded pallet to delivery area.
• Load empty pallets and slip sheets; clear jams as needed.
• Operate bagger equipment and start-up procedures.
