Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Chicago area seeks an experienced Offset Printing Press Operator to safely operate and maintain equipment for folding cartons. You will lead a crew, ensure production efficiency, uphold quality specifications and follow GMP/Safety guidelines.

The role requires 5+ years of printing experience, strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork to meet production goals. This is a full-time on-site position with rotating 12-hour shifts and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of printing experience (Operator I or II)
• Post-secondary education in printing technologies preferred
• General Math skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain an Offset Printing Press to manufacture folding cartons
• Manage and mentor crew to meet production goals
• Attend team meetings and support sample production runs
• Identify process improvements to reduce downtime and spoilage
• Perform required product and process audits and adhere to GMP/Safety
