Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of production processes and machine operation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Solid math and measuring skills for accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Proficient with basic computer functions and production data entry.
• Paper industry experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Sheeter machine to maintain quality and productivity during production runs.
• Monitor machine functions and adjust to meet production goals and specs.
• Perform Sheeter Helper duties: roll handling, splicing, packaging, labeling, material prep.
• Use ERP and other systems to track orders, production, and materials.
• Read and interpret job tickets for internal specs and customer requirements.
• Serve as first line of quality assurance by reporting defects or inconsistencies in materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on the Sheeter machine to ensure reliability.
