Job summary

Southeast Steel Systems is seeking a Sheet Metal Technician to operate roll forming and sheet metal machines, producing roofing panels and components for pre-engineered steel building systems. This hands-on role requires accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a busy shop.

You will read work orders, measure and cut to spec, inspect finished products, and coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to maintain workflow.

The Sheet Metal Technician is responsible for producing metal roofing panels and components used in pre-engineered steel building systems. This role operates specialized sheet metal machinery to cut, form, and prepare roofing materials to precise specifications.

Working in the shop alongside Metal Fabrication & Assembly Technicians, this position focuses specifically on roofing production using dedicated equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
