Roof Services is seeking a motivated Sheet Metal Foreman/Mechanic to safely install and repair sheet metal products and equipment for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties.

The role covers reading blueprints, fabricating parts, inspecting quality, and maintaining tools in a construction setting. We value attention to detail and teamwork to ensure reliable roofing solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in sheet metal fabrication/installation or related fields.
• Proficiency in using sheet metal fabrication tools such as shears, presses, drills and reading technical drawings.
• Familiarity with various processes (cutting, bending, assembling).
• Understanding of safety procedures in fabrication/installation.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble sheet metal products using brakes, shears, drills, and presses.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect fabricated parts to ensure quality and precision.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and machines.

We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Sheet Metal Foreman/Mechanic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely installing and repairing sheet metal products and equipment.

Your Duties

• Install and assemble sheet metal products using brakes, shears, drills, and presses
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet required quality standards, and ensure precision and accuracy
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and machines
• Assist team members to collaborate and complete tasks efficiently
• Perform tasks requiring physical stamina such as lifting, moving materials, using hand tools, and working in shop/warehouse and construction environments

Knowledge and Skills

• 1–2 years in sheet metal fabrication/installation or related fields
• Proficiency in using sheet metal fabrication tools such as shears, presses, drills and reading technical drawings
• Familiarity with various processes (cutting, bending, assembling)
• Understanding of safety procedures in fabrication/installation

Working Conditions

• Construction site environment with exposure to loud noise, various weather conditions, heat, and various equipment
• Walking, lifting, bending, reaching, operating machinery, climbing ladders
• Mindful of workplace accidents, injuries, and potential safety concerns
