Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and repair ductwork and sheet metal components per plans and contracts.
• Work with duct joints such as slide, drive, TDF, snap lock, and other assemblies.
• Install HVAC equipment including air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan power boxes.
• Prioritize safety in all activities, including tool use.
• Interpret blueprints and verbal instructions to determine project requirements.
• Inspect completed work for precision, quality, and adherence to standards.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to fabricate, assemble, and install various sheet metal products and equipment in commercial and industrial settings. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair ductwork and sheet metal components according to plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Work with various duct joints, including slide and drive, TDF, snap lock, and other assemblies as required.
• Install equipment such as air handling units, VAV boxes, and fan power boxes used in commercial and industrial construction.
• Prioritize safety during all work activities, including the use of hand tools.
• Determine project requirements by interpreting blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience in operating sheet metal machinery and tools, with a willingness to provide and use basic hand tools as required for tasks.

Preferred candidates will

• Hold certification in sheet metal fabrication or a related field.
• Have experience with HVAC systems installation.
