Qualifications

• Experience in commercial roofing or architectural sheet metal installation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of roofing systems and flashing details.
• Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal roofing components and systems.
• Install edge metal, coping caps, flashings, gutters, downspouts, scuppers, and custom architectural sheet metal.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Perform roof-related waterproofing and flashing work.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment.
• Work effectively with foremen, project managers, and fellow crew members.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Position Summary

The Sheet Metal Roofer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining architectural and roofing‑related sheet metal systems on commercial and industrial buildings. This position works with a variety of materials including galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and specialty metals to create and install roofing components that protect buildings from the elements.

The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high‑quality craftsmanship.

What You'll Do

• Install sheet metal roofing components and systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and access rooftop work areas
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the day
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction activities
