We are seeking to hire a fully competent installer (Journeyman, Mechanic) to join our Production Team. As a member of the Production Team, you will be responsible for completing assigned tasks efficiently, producing consistent, high‑quality work, and contributing to daily production goals.

Compensation

Hourly Pay: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour

Travel Requirements

Note: This position requires up to 100% travel out of state. Travel schedule is a 28–30 day rotation with a 5 day break between each rotation.

Candidates who have little to no prior experience with Commercial Roofing Systems (Sheet Metal) are encouraged to apply for our Entry Level Commercial Roofing Position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete the initial safety and technical training onboarding
• Demolition and removal of existing roofing material
• Loading and unloading roofing material and equipment
• Complete assigned sheet metal tasks at or above expected production rates
• Read and follow shop drawings and manufacturer specifications
• Install perimeter metals, gutters, downspouts, coping, drip edge, gravel stop, pipe flashings, and counterflashing with minimal supervision
• Perform accurate field measurements to support fabrication
• Maintain tool readiness and proper equipment use
• Identify material needs early to prevent delays
• Learning the basic technical details of various roof systems
• Maintaining a clean and safe work site
• Participating in continuous improvement initiative

Experience Requirements

• 3+ Years of experience in Commercial Roofing (Sheet Metal specifically)
• Proficient in cutting, bending, forming, and installing sheet metal components
• Strong understanding of fastening patterns and attachment methods
• Ability to interpret drawings and roof plans
• Be able to show sheet metal knowledge/skills during a practical assessment before hire
• Clear a National, State, and Local Background Check
• 3‑Year Motor Vehicle Record meeting standards to drive company vehicles (If hired as a driver)
• Candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen & complete Post Hire fit for duty screening
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
• Pass the 90‑day introductory period
• Willingness to learn from other technicians & direct supervisors
• BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY REQUIRED
