Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor – Sheet Metal in Richmond, VA to lead a skilled team on fabrication and warehouse operations. You will optimize production flow, supervise daily activities, and drive Lean improvements while ensuring safety and quality across all processes.

The role emphasizes people development, process standardization, and collaboration with project managers to meet deadlines and customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes including cutting, forming, assembly.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regs.
• Experience managing manpower and productivity.
• ERP/MRP or inventory/WMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and sheet metal fabrication.
• Plan workflows, production schedules, and goals.
• Monitor performance and resolve operational challenges.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with leadership and project teams.
