TRUE MANUFACTURING GROUP is seeking an Assistant Supervisor for the Sheet Metal department to lead daily operations, coach Leaders, and drive safety, quality, and production results. You will act as a key contact for safety, training, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with company policies and leadership standards.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of the majority of powder coating processes in assigned area.
• Knowledge of company policies and production floor procedures.
• Strives for continuous improvement and has a team-based mindset.
• Educating team members on Company’s sustainability efforts.
• Work with the Supervisor to create Standard Work to align with the schedule.
• Adequate written and above average verbal communication skills.
• Assertive and diplomatic when interacting with employees at all levels.
• Lead people, obtain commitment from team members, and achieve results through others.
• Attention to detail and logical problem-solving approach.
• Proven history of reliability and attendance.
• Ability to think ahead and create action plans to achieve results.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach Department Leaders and employees to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Maintain Leader Standard Work and ensure area is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
• Conduct daily safety checks, quality audits, and production status updates.
• Coordinate with HR on attendance, training needs, and employee relations.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements across the sheet metal area.
• Communicate scheduling, material availability, and line efficiency to leaders and support teams.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team atmosphere and continuous improvement.
