Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Supervisor in Auburn, WA to direct daily fabrication activities with a focus on safety, quality and throughput. This role reports to the Production Manager and requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will oversee scheduling, coaching, and continuous improvement projects using LEAN methods while ensuring compliance with QAPs and customer specifications. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Leadership, delegation, and team-building abilities.
• Background in manufacturing with aerospace knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plan department operations by reviewing production orders and schedules.
• Direct daily sheet metal fabrication activities focusing on safety, quality and throughput.
• Develop and monitor work teams to meet company goals.
• Create and maintain training programs for manufacturing personnel.
• Lead continuous improvement through Lean projects and standard practices.
