Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Sheet Metal Production Supervisor to oversee daily sheet metal fabrication with emphasis on safety, quality, and throughput. This role reports to the Production Manager and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in aerospace sheet metal fabrication, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and proficiency with blueprints and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to direct reports.
• Background in manufacturing environment required.
• Aerospace industry knowledge preferred.
• Ability to apply lean tools and principles.
• Must be able to read basic blue prints and understand specifications.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production orders and schedules to plan department operations.
• Oversees development and monitors work teams for efficiency.
• Prepares production schedules and coordinates daily activities.
• Reviews reports and resolves issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Implements training programs for manufacturing personnel.
• Ensures compliance with QA procedures and EH&S requirements.
