Job summary

Sonaca North America in Auburn, WA, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing department with a focus on safety, quality and throughput. You will oversee all daily activities in the processing area, drive Lean initiatives and promote a performance-based culture through metrics and daily production meetings.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of supervision, or a BA/BS with related experience, plus strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising assembly, machining or processing operations.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead safety, quality and throughput initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations.
• Develop and monitor work teams to meet goals and objectives.
• Prepare production schedules and coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and EH&S requirements.
