Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks a Sheet Metal Operator III to fabricate parts and move materials safely within the Fabrication team. You may flex to other stations as demand requires, upholding BAC’s values and committing to technical mastery in the department.

You will work within a safety-focused environment, meet daily production goals, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting high-quality outcomes.

Competenze

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic fractional calculations.
• Able to read blueprints and reference drawings.
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, rulers and squares.
• Familiar with Lean basics and 5S standards.
• Commitment to safety and PPE requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Mansioni

• Owns personal and team safety and uses proper PPE.
• Assist Senior Operator to complete parts safely and with quality.
• Program and run simple parts on press brake; perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform material kitting and operate shear; maintenance.
• Assist changing dies and CNC tooling.
• Manage scrap reduction and drop off rack.
• Keep equipment in good operating condition.
• Meet daily production goals set by Team Leader.
• Replenish supplies and consumables.
• Learn skills to become a world-class operator.
• Flex to other areas as needed; demonstrate teamwork.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
