Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a long‑standing agricultural equipment manufacturer in Janesville, WI. The role centers on sheet metal fabrication—cutting, forming, and welding—to improve throughput, quality, and tooling design.

You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work with product engineering on DFM. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering with 3+ years in sheet metal fabrication and strong 3D CAD proficiency (Creo).

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years with sheet metal fabrication including profiling and bending equipment.
• Good 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and optimize fabrication processes for sheet metal components.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling for plasma/laser cutting, bending, forming, and welding.
• Drive lean continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework.
• Collaborate with product engineering on DFM for fabricated parts.
• Support programming of CNC cutters and welding cells.
• Conduct time studies and capacity analyses to support production planning.
