Job summary

Truestone, an Akima company, is seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team in Tobyhanna, PA. You will fabricate, modify, and install sheet metal components per blueprints and work instructions, and operate related machinery on-site.

The role requires interpreting drawings, planning layouts, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting fabrication of shelters, vans, antennas, and related components. UV background check and drug testing are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints/sketches.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• US citizenship or clearance eligibility.
• Ability to work first/second/third shift.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install sheet metal items per blueprints and samples.
• Interpret multi-view drawings for layouts and fabrication.
• Operate sheet metal machines and tools.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in production.
• Support fabrication and repair for shelters, vans, antennas, and components.
