Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and comprehend applicable written and/or oral instructions.
• Completed four-year Pantex apprenticeship or journeyman certification or five years relevant experience.
• Must have a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• DOE Order 426.2A related safety requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, assembles, alters, repairs, and installs sheet metal articles and equipment.
• Cuts metal with hand shears, rotary shears, and/or square shears.
• Welds various kinds of metals and reads blueprints or sketches.
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to safety regulations.
• Must be able to work alone or with others as required.
