Candidates must be willing to work first, second, or third shift. Responsibilities include welding metal components per blueprints, reading diagrams, performing pre-heating, cutting, grinding, and post-weld tasks, and welding dissimilar metals.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with ability to pass background, credit, and criminal checks for government clearance.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Proficient in Aluminum TIG, Aluminum MIG, Flux Core and Steel MIG.
• Ability to work first, second, or third shift.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal components to fabricate/repair per layouts/blueprints using various welding processes.
• Read blueprints/diagrams and lay out work with templates and jigs.
• Perform pre-heating, cutting, grinding, and post-weld inspection as required.
• Weld dissimilar metals such as copper to steel and work in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Comply with safety standards and pass certification tests as needed.
