Our client, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of agricultural equipment, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer focused on sheet metal fabrication. You will develop and optimize fabrication processes, improve tooling and jigs, and drive lean improvements to reduce cycle time and defects.

Responsibilities include collaboration with design for manufacturability, CNC cutter support, time studies, and equipment utilization analysis. A BS in engineering and 3+ years of sheet metal experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Agricultural, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience with sheet metal fabrication including work with profiling and bending equipment (lasers, brake presses, shears and saws).
• Good 3D CAD skills, preferably Creo.

Aufgaben

• Develop, document, and optimize fabrication processes for structural steel and sheet metal components used in agricultural equipment.
• Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling to ensure consistency and ergonomic safety in plasma/laser cutting, bending, forming, and welding.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools to reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework in fabrication operations.
