Job summary

Precision Castparts in Huntington, WV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and other maintenance duties across the facility. You will read blueprints and diagrams, install and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and coordinate with operators to minimize downtime.

A high school diploma or GED is required; you must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, wear PPE, and work rotating shifts, including nights and overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow all facility safety programs and policies.
• Rotate between various areas within the facility.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Install, repair, dismantle, and service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment.
• Read and fabricate metal stock for sizes.
• Weld, braze, and solder metal as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties and document tasks.
• Keep work area clean and report safety concerns.
• Direct trainee maintenance staff as needed.
