Job summary

TTX Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production lines by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing routine and corrective maintenance on shop equipment such as welders and grinders. The role includes reading blueprints and completing work orders to keep equipment running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a 2-year technical degree in maintenance or related certification, hands-on welding and cutting skills, and the ability to plan and schedule work.

Qualifications

• Formal education required: high school or equivalent.
• 2-year technical degree in maintenance or vocational certification.
• Knowledge: mechanical skills.
• Skills: welding and cutting.
• Mental factors: decision making and planning/scheduling.
• Preferred: ability to speak/read/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment, including welders and grinders.
• Repair broken parts using hand tools and welding equipment in safety compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose problems.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Install new equipment and support facility maintenance plans.
