Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Foreman Sheet Metal – Mechanical in Charlotte, NC. You will supervise duct layout, assembly and installation, read blueprints, plan crew tasks, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe project completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial sheet metal with 2+ years in supervision, strong communication, and a solid understanding of HVAC systems and SMACNA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical sheet metal experience and 2+ years in supervision.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and some weekends.
• Reliable transportation and clear communication skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC ductwork installation and SMACNA standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and product data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise layout, assembly and installation of sheet metal duct.
• Read blueprints and equipment packaging lists for assembly.
• Plan tasks and schedule resources for crew (2–15).
• Coordinate with customers, owners’ reps, and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure on-time project completion.
