Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Foreman Sheet Metal – Mechanical in Charlotte, NC. The role leads a crew to supervise layout, assembly and installation of HVAC ductwork and related systems.

The candidate will read blueprints, coordinate with contractors and customers, manage resources for crews of 2 to 15, and ensure safety and quality on site. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial mechanical sheet metal experience and 2 years supervisor experience
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, and some weekends)
• Must have reliable transportation and driver’s license
• Must successfully pass a background check & drug test

Responsibilities

• Supervise the layout, assembly and installation of sheet metal duct
• Direct others on work activities and organize the scheduling of resources
• Plan out tasks for crew and read blueprints
• Coordinate with customers, owners’ reps, trade partners, subcontractors
• Provide safety compliance and quality control on site
