Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Southwest Inc. in Chandler, AZ seeks a seasoned Sheet Metal General Foreman to lead multiple commercial plumbing projects.

You will supervise sheet metal crews, interpret blueprints, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with project managers to maintain schedules. The role requires heavy field leadership, strong knowledge of plumbing systems, and a proven ability to manage complex sites under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects for a large-scale contractor.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Sheet Metal crews across multiple job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Work with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow.
• Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.
• Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.
• Report progress, delays, and field issues to the Plumbing Superintendent.
• Oversee and enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards on job sites.
• Assist with project planning, layout, and execution of plumbing scope.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
