Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex mechanical, plumbing, and sheet metal construction projects from preconstruction turnover through closeout. You will own project execution, financial performance, schedule, contracts, procurement, billing, risk, and team leadership.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, planning labor, managing budgets and forecasts, administering contracts, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining safety and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years progressive construction experience.
• Experience managing mechanical, plumbing, and/or sheet metal construction projects with financials.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting, WIP, backlog, cost forecasting, profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for assigned projects and supervise project team.
• Plan labor resources with field supervision to ensure safe, timely execution.
• Manage budgets, schedules, cost controls, forecasting, and contract valuations.
• Oversee contract administration and documentation to reduce risk.
• Lead preconstruction turnover, permitting, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate procurement and subcontract administration; negotiate change orders.
• Develop billing schedules and manage invoicing and collections.
• Identify project risk and implement corrective actions.
