Job summary

DesignBuild Mechanical, a Crete United company, is seeking a working Sheet Metal Foreman/Journeyman for on-site roles in Charlotte, NC. The position focuses on supervision and hands-on fabrication, installation, and coordination on commercial/industrial projects.

Qualified candidates will have sheet metal experience, ability to read plans, lead teams, and manage schedules while complying with safety guidelines. Travel to project sites is occasional; competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites following safety guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders.
• Experience leading craft workers and coordinating activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft workers and coordinate activities.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders for supervision.
• Install and direct installation of assemblies in buildings or sites.
• Establish work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Maintain time records and coordinate schedules.
• Coordinate project activities with other trades.
• Support project manager with schedules and deliveries.
