Descrizione del lavoro

Delkor Metalworks is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician I to operate equipment and follow processes for producing quality sheet metal parts. You will interpret drawings, set up CNC machines, and ensure accuracy while maintaining a safety-first approach on the production floor.

The role involves assisting with material handling, training peers, and contributing to a fast-paced shop that values quality and timely delivery. Competitive benefits and a structured schedule are provided.

Competenze

Two-year degree in machining or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
Minimum of one year of experience setting up and operating CNC machines preferred.
Exposure to programming using nesting and/or bend software packages.

Interpret and work from detailed shop drawings, blueprints and custom sketches.
Set up and operate equipment.
Work with a safety-first attitude and encourage others to do the same.
Consistently deliver quality parts to the customer by meeting or exceeding quality goals.
Execute the operation of assigned equipment, monitoring the process closely for accuracy and quality.
Assist with managing raw materials inventory, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials for fabrication jobs.
Assist and train other technicians as needed.
