Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete travelers, records, and material traceability documentation.
• Follow safety requirements, PPE, quality procedures, and 5S practices.
• Assist in other fabrication or production areas as needed.

• Set up and operate 3-axis laser machines to cut sheet-metal parts.
• Verify correct material type, thickness, quantity, program, and job requirements before production.
• Load and unload sheet material, finished parts, skeletons, and scrap using appropriate equipment.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, tape measures, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, burrs, incomplete cuts, scratches, warping, and other defects.
• Make basic operator adjustments and troubleshoot minor machine, material, or cutting-quality issues.
• Perform routine machine care, including nozzle and lens cleaning, consumable changes, and general housekeeping.
• Complete job travelers, inspection records, production paperwork, and material traceability documentation.
• Follow all safety requirements, PPE expectations, quality procedures, and 5S practices.
• Assist in other fabrication or production areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, CNC machine operation, or laser experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, job travelers, and basic measuring tools.
• Familiarity with sheet-metal materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, pull, or move up to pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
