Job summary

Advantage Manufacturing of Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled metal finisher to grind, deburr, and blend edges on precision sheet metal parts. You will interpret blueprints, follow work instructions, and perform tactile and visual inspections to ensure conformance to specs.

The role requires 1+ year in metal finishing, experience with grinders and finishing machines, and strong attention to detail. Local, full-time hours with a day shift and competitive hourly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in metal finishing (deburring/grinding) with sheet metal experience preferred.
• Blueprint reading, shop math, and quality standard familiarity.
• PPE compliance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and blend edges to print tolerances.
• Inspect with calipers, micrometers, and gauges; escalate defects.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions to meet finishes.
• Maintain clean work cell and dispose of shavings, dust, and debris.
• Collaborate with operators, welders, and quality to meet throughput targets.
