Tecomet, Inc is seeking a Metal Finisher I to perform finishing operations such as deburring, grinding and polishing in alignment with job orders. The role includes sand blasting, quality inspections per specifications, and proper setup of finishing equipment to ensure correct finishes.

Applicants should be comfortable working with common hand tools, reading blueprints, and adhering to safety standards. The position emphasizes efficiency and teamwork in a structured manufacturing environment,

Competenze

High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
Experience using hand tools, sanders and grinders preferred.

Mansioni

Perform basic finishing operations: deburring, hand grinding, polishing, break edges.
Operate sand blasting using a blast cabinet and select appropriate media.
Conduct visual inspections to verify surface finishes per specs/blueprints.
Set up and operate finishing equipment ensuring proper finish.
Acquire Production Approval when specified on job router or work order.
Count parts before starting and after completing operations.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspace; follow 5S practices.
Support production goals with additional duties as needed by supervisor.
