Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 years of related experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to use hand tools and shop equipment on metal components.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and sharp edges from metal parts and assemblies to specified tolerances.
• Operate and maintain grinders, sanders, buffers, tumbling machines, and grit blasting equipment.
• Clean parts to remove contaminants and apply corrosion inhibitors as specified.
• Buff and polish parts to achieve desired surface finish.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide activities and ensure quality.
• Follow work instructions; keep daily production records and relevant data.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and use protective equipment as required.
• Adhere to 6S program and company safety policies.
• Maintain neat and compliant work area and support team goals.
