Job summary

IKM Building Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial projects. You will supervise workers, coordinate daily activities, and ensure installations meet quality and safety standards.

Travel to project sites is required; the role emphasizes on-time delivery, accurate reports, and adherence to plans and specifications. Experience with HVAC ductwork and blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sheet metal foreman experience.
• Sheet metal apprenticeship completed.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sheet metal mechanics, apprentices, and field personnel on job sites.
• Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Oversee HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installations.
• Ensure work meets quality standards, project requirements, and building codes.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other trades.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings and jobsite inspections.
• Complete daily reports, track labor hours, and maintain project documentation.
• Manage project tools, equipment, and material deliveries.

Sheet Metal Construction Foreman

We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and industrial construction projects. This position is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating jobsite activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Sheet Metal Apprenticeship completion.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work on active construction sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather and field conditions.

Work Environment

• Approximately 100% field work
• Regular exposure to construction site conditions, including noise, dust, and changing weather.
• Travel to project sites is required.
