Job summary

Beckett Thermal Solutions in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Programmer for 1st and 2nd shift to program and optimize sheet metal production equipment. You will handle Prima Power NC Express, 2D Laser, Punch, and Amada press brakes, while coordinating with engineering and operations to maintain flow and delivery.

The role requires 3+ years in sheet metal/CNC, the ability to read drawings, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience programming with Prima Power NC Express.
• Hands-on experience setting up and programming Amada press brakes.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize manufacturing equipment using Prima Power NC Express.
• Operate 2D Laser, Punch, Combi Punch/Laser, and Shear.
• Work with automated systems and nest/machine programs from CAD drawings.
• Plan and schedule production and monitor capacity and status.
• Manage work orders and production priorities.
• Set up and program Amada press brakes, including tooling selection.
• Develop bend sequences and perform offline programming.
• Approve first-piece and drive process optimization.
• Support production teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service and operations to ensure on-time delivery.
