Page Mechanical Group, Inc. in Virginia seeks an experienced Precision Sheet Metal Fabricator / Programmer to set up, program, and operate CNC sheet metal equipment, producing high-quality parts to print. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience and can read engineering drawings.

You will work with engineering to improve processes, select tooling, verify first-piece dimensions, and document quality procedures in a team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision sheet metal fabrication.
• CNC programming and machine setup experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with press brakes and CNC punching equipment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal materials and forming processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC sheet metal equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and specs.
• Select tooling and determine bend sequences and forming methods.
• Set up machines and verify first-piece dimensions.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine issues.
• Improve processes to reduce setup time and production time.
• Maintain documentation and follow quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Support prototype and production work.
