NightOwl Consulting seeks a detail-oriented CAD Technician – Sheet Metal Layout to join our fabrication team. This role focuses on creating accurate flat pattern layouts and sending them to laser cutting to ensure precise sheet metal components.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, the ability to read blueprints, and strong collaboration with the fabrication team are essential. Experience with restaurant equipment or stainless steel work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sheet metal design and flat pattern layout.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send flat pattern layouts to laser cutting equipment.
• Create and modify sheet metal part designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Collaborate with the fabrication team to troubleshoot and optimize designs.
• Maintain organized design files and ensure all drawings meet company quality standards.
