Job summary

InterMetro Industries is seeking full-time Production Associates for the Sheet Metal Assembly Department in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Associates will use hand tools and related equipment to assemble raw and semi-finished material into finished Metro products.

Shifts are not guaranteed and candidates must complete screening and a 400-hour probation. Responsibilities include reading orders, inspecting parts with measuring equipment, performing basic math, meeting production and quality standards, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assembles various components of Metro product to manufacture finished product.
• Reads and interprets orders to ensure the finished product meets customer orders.
• Uses computer to research product specifications.
• Checks parts dimensions using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Meets production and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Must be available to work overtime as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
• Regular attendance is required.
