Job Details

Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705 | Position Type: Full Time | Category: Manufacturing

We are seeking full‑time Operators for the Sheet Metal Fabrication Department. Positions are available on the 2nd (3:00 - 11:00 p.m.) and 3rd (11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.) shifts. Associates in these positions support the manufacture of cabinets or other products by preparing sheet metal stock for application to finished product. Attention to detail is required and all associates must meet standards for acceptable production and quality.

All applicants must successfully complete screening requirements and a probationary period of 400 working hours. These opportunities are in a bargaining unit, so shifts are not guaranteed; applicants should be available to work any shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates press brake machinery
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Utilizes precision measuring equipment
• Operates auxiliary equipment as assigned
• Meets performance and quality standards
• Uses simple tools such as tape measure and protractor
• Works effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
• Maintains regular attendance

Note: This job may not be limited to the operation of a press brake. Other duties, including operation of other machinery in the Fabrication work‑center, will be assigned as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience operating metal forming machines
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
