Job summary

Moore Tulsa Digital Print and Mail Center is seeking a Web Press Helper to assist the press operator in setting up and running a sheet-fed press. You will mount plates, inspect quality, and help maintain a clean, safe work area while following procedures and schedules.

The role requires basic tools proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with 1–3 years in production being a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a job ticket, layout, artwork and specifications.
• Previous printing/press experience on a sheet-fed press encouraged.
• Must be able to operate basic hand tools and use related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the press operator in setting up and running the press.
• Mount printing plates to press cylinders.
• Ensure printed materials meet quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized area.
• Perform tasks with attention to quality, quantity, sanitation and timeliness.
• Check materials against customer specifications.
• Prepare make-ready for upcoming jobs and stage materials.
• Learn basic machine operation and participate in maintenance and cleanliness.
• Understand department communication, schedules and job reporting requirements.
• Maintain good attendance and be able to work overtime when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
