Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Safety Health Environmental (SHE) Manager R&D to lead safety, environmental, and compliance matters at the R&D site. You will drive the SHE program, manage internal and external reporting, and coordinate risk assessments and corrective actions across the organization.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge of ISO standards; CSP/CIH certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree (Masters preferred) in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of SHE experience in R&D, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• CSP, CIH, or ISO Lead Auditor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to R&D site on safety, environmental, and compliance matters.
• Oversees and controls the implementation of the standards, policies and guidelines related to the topics within the scope of R&D and ensure compliance with local regulations and Henkel correspondent Standards.
• Has responsibility for internal and external reporting requirements for safety, environmental, and compliance matters.
• Coordinate Safety Health Environmental (SHE) occupational risk assessments, audits, assessments, certifications, and corrective action programs.
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the R&D SHE Management System.
• Support incident management, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation.
• Develop SHE training and capability-building initiatives.
• Lead Regional SHE projects and stakeholder engagement across R&D.
