Job summary

Henkel in the United States (CT, Trumbull) is seeking a Senior SHE leader for its Consumer Brands R&D operations. You will drive safety, environmental compliance and reporting across site functions, partnering with cross-functional teams to strengthen the SHE program.

The role requires a Master’s degree (preferred) and 5+ years of SHE experience in R&D/manufacturing, with ISO knowledge and auditor qualifications valued. Comprehensive benefits and growth await.

Qualifications

• College degree in a related field with preferred Master’s degree.
• 5+ years of SHE experience in R&D, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; CSP/CIH or lead auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to R&D site on safety, environmental and compliance matters.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards and local regulations.
• Own internal and external reporting for safety, environmental and compliance.
• Coordinate SHE risk assessments, audits, certifications and corrective actions.
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the R&D SHE system.
• Support incident management, emergency preparedness and risk mitigation.
• Develop SHE training and capability-building initiatives.
• Lead regional SHE projects and stakeholder engagement across R&D.
