Job summary

allnex is seeking a detail-oriented Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Leader for our West Virginia site. You will guide compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, lead safety programs, and coordinate training across the site.

The role requires 5–7 years in SHE within manufacturing, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct reports. Travel may be required; ISO/RCMS certifications are part of the focus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of SHE experience in manufacturing, ideally chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local SHE regulations, permitting, and reporting.
• Experience interacting with auditors, regulators, and government officials; managing inspections and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site SHE initiatives; ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Monitor laws and industry requirements; maintain regulatory deadlines and reports (e.g., MON, LDAR).
• Oversee SHE management system certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RCMS).
• Promote safety culture; deliver SHE training; lead PSM activities and address compliance issues.
• Serve as primary site contact for emergencies; develop occupational health programs with providers.
• Participate in Hazard Evaluation Lab analyses; review and enhance SHE programs and practices.
• Drive risk-reduction strategies; oversee material handling and 5S/SHAPE initiatives.
