Job summary

allnex is seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for our Willow Island, WV site. The role provides leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while upholding allnex SHE policies and standards in a chemical manufacturing setting.

You will drive safety culture, manage certifications (ISO14001, ISO45001, RCMS), and coordinate training, emergency response, and health programs across the site to protect workers and the environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of SHE related experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with local/regional SHE regulations and interaction with auditors/regulators.
• Demonstrated team and project leadership (PHA, PSSR, audits, root cause).
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) initiatives within a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Monitor and interpret evolving laws and codes; advise leadership and manage regulatory deadlines.
• Oversee SHE management system certifications (ISO14001, ISO45001, RCMS) and drive continual improvement.
• Deliver SHE training and lead Process Safety Management activities across management levels.
• Serve as primary site contact for emergencies and develop occupational health programs.
