Job summary

Alzheimer's Society is seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform Engineer to design, develop and support SharePoint Online and Power Platform services, including intranet, Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Power BI reports, enabling colleagues to work securely and effectively.

You will partner with stakeholders, drive adoption, govern security, and continuously improve digital workplace tools, while keeping governance and Azure/Entra ID considerations at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and supporting SharePoint Online sites, intranets, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Expert knowledge of Power Automate; experience building Power Apps and Power BI reports.
• Strong PowerShell skills for automating Microsoft 365 administration (e.g., PnP PowerShell).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance, security, licensing, and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, including identity, guest access, and external sharing.
• Experience creating user-focused digital solutions to improve processes and ways of working.
• Advanced stakeholder management and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating technical documentation, standards, and support materials.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and technology adoption.

Responsibilities

• Creating, designing, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites and the intranet, including information architecture, permissions, and templates
• Administering Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and governance controls across collaboration services
• Deploying and enhancing Microsoft Viva applications to improve employee experience
• Building Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes
• Using PowerShell and Azure to automate administration, reporting, and integrations
• Developing Power BI dashboards and reports for meaningful stakeholder insights
• Creating and managing Power Pages and Copilot Studio solutions to support digital services and AI-powered experiences
• Managing Power Platform governance, including environments, data loss prevention policies, and licensing
• Acting as SME for SharePoint and Power Platform across the Society
• Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to maximize value of digital workplace tools
• Driving adoption, continuous improvement, and innovation across collaboration platforms
• Creating and maintaining technical and architectural documentation
