Reports to: Global Manager, Technical Communications (US based)

About our team
We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Business Operations, Operations Support, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you'll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
About the role
As our SharePoint Content Manager, you'll own the SharePoint sites that support our global datacenter physical security program. Your goal is to make sure the content our teams depend on is accurate, well organized, easy to access, and genuinely useful. You'll shape how information is structured across our sites, keep everything aligned with our standards, and continually look for ways to improve the experience for the people who use it every day.
This is a role for someone who enjoys blending creativity with technical know-how. You'll bring a strong understanding of SharePoint's features and capabilities, a working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards, and the organizational instincts to keep a large, global program running smoothly. Because you'll collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders across departments, a team-first mindset, sharp analytical thinking, and solid project management skills will serve you well.
What you'll do
This role is responsible for managing and maintaining our SharePoint site libraries, lists, pages, and navigation so that people can find what they need without friction. You'll partner with team members to put content management strategies into practice, keep information organized and accessible, and ensure our document management meets ISO 9001 requirements every step of the way.
You'll also be the person who keeps making things better. That means continually evaluating our content management processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness, gathering feedback and requirements from departments and stakeholders, and working with site admins and contributors to turn ideas into real solutions. You'll use analytics tools to monitor site usage and content performance, then apply what you learn to refine our approach, and when issues come up with SharePoint content or functionality, you'll troubleshoot and resolve them.
Supporting the people who use our sites is a big part of the job. You'll provide training and guidance on SharePoint best practices and features, present to large groups of stakeholders when needed, whether that is a training session or a business case proposal, and regularly organize and lead meetings that keep everyone informed with clear status updates. You'll stay current on the latest SharePoint updates and trends, and, at the direction of the Global Technical Communications Manager, take on other responsibilities that help the datacenter physical security program succeed.
What you need to apply
To apply, you should have a bachelor's degree in information technology, content strategy, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus at least five years of content management experience, ideally in a global organization. Exceptional SharePoint expertise is required, including user experience, governance, compliance, and site maintenance; SharePoint certification is a plus. You should also have experience with document management systems, ISO 9001 quality standards, and local or global project management.
You'll need to be comfortable presenting to senior leadership and large audiences and be skilled with communication – both written and verbal – across diverse cultures. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is expected, while experience with Power Automate, Power BI, datacenter operations, or contract security is preferred.
All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to/from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
What you'll get
We offer more than just a job; we offer the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth matters. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic environment while supporting a prestigious multinational client account. You will gain exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration, and you will have access to continuous learning, training programs, and career development opportunities designed to help you succeed.
The extra stuff
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and willing to complete the company's pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen. This position requires, with or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively. That includes managing multiple tasks at once, using a computer for what can be prolonged periods of data analysis, and handling sensitive and confidential information with care. The role involves regular talking and hearing, frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds, and close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus. Some flexibility in scheduling may be needed to meet the demands of a global program.
